Based in Boston, Massachusetts, a professional ice hockey team and members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League are the Boston Bruins. Along with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, and Chicago Blackhawks, the Bruins are one of the six original teams of the NHL. They were founded in 1924 and used to play their home games at Boston Garden since 1928. In 1995, the team moved to their new home arena, the TD Garden. The Bruins jersey colors are TD black, gold and white. They now have 22 division championship titles since 1927 and 2 conference championship titles in 1987 and 1989 season. Boston currently has the second most Stanley Cup championships by an American team having five wins and Detroit Red Wings hold 11 wins.
