Los Angeles Kings
One of the professional ice hockey teams of the National Hockey League is the Los Angeles Kings. The team is a based Los Angeles, California and a member of the Pacific Division of the NHL Western Conference. They are founded in 1967 and used to play their home games for 32 years at the The Forum in Inglewood, California and later on transferred to Staples Center in 1999. During the 1990-1991 NHL season, the Kings won the division championship over the four other members namely Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets. In 1992-1993 NHL 76th season, the team faced the Montreal Canadiens but were not able to get the Stanley Cup. The Kings uniform colors are black, purple, silver and white. He was the 11th overall draft pick by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Kopitar is the first Slovenian player to appear in the NHL.
