Montreal Canadians
The Montreal Canadiens are based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and a professional ice hockey team and members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. They are known as the Le Club de Hockey Canadien. The Canadiens were founded in December 4, 1909 and so far the oldest ice hockey team. They used to play their home games at Jubilee Rink, Montreal Westmount Arena, Mount Royal Arena and the Montreal Forum. Their current home arena is the Bell Centre which is a sports and entertainment complex in Montreal, Quebec. The club is so far one of the leading professional teams of the National Hockey League with 22 division championship and 8 conference championship titles. They also have a total of 24 Stanley cups since the 1915-1916 NHL season. Dick Duff is one of the hall of famers of the Canadiens who won six Stanley cups during his period with the team and two for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
