Based in Newark, New Jersey, a professional ice hockey team and members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League are the New Jersey Devils. The team was first founded in 1974 as Kansas City Scouts, then moved to Denver, Colorado as the Colorado Rockies in 1976 and finally settled in New Jersey in 1982 as the New Jersey Devils. The team relocated to Newark to play their home games at the newly-constructed mult-purpose indoor arena, the Prudential Center before the 2007-2008 NHL season. The current Devils uniform colors are red, white and black and they can be seen on both the home and road jerseys. Since 1996-1997 season, they have already won 8 division championship titles. They also have four conference championship titles and three Stanley cups. The last Stanley cup they have won was in 2002-2003 which they have battled with the Anaheim Ducks
