Pittsburgh Penguins
The defending Stanley Cup champions of the National Hockey League are the Pittsburgh Penguins. The team is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and founded in 1967. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the NHL's Eastern Conference. Since 1967, they are playing their home games at the Mellon Arena. So far the Penguins are holding six division championship and four conference championship titles. The recent title they have won is the Stanley Cup for the 91st season of NHL leaving the Detroit Red Wings as the first runner up. 2010 is about to come and the team is preparing to move into their new arena, the Consol Energy.
