San Jose Sharks San Jose Sharks were founded in 1991 and joined the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League as one of the ice hockey professional teams. The team's jersey colors are deep pacific teal, burnt orange, black and white featuring the shark logo in front of the uniform. Since 2001, they have won 4 division championship titles and the most recent is during the October 4, 2008 – June 12, 2009 NHL 91st season. Giving a big contribution to the Sharks' popularity is Igor Larionov, 2008 Hockey Hall of Famer who also won three Stanley Cup championships with the Detroit Red Wings.
